Protection
The anodized surface can achieve higher hardnesses, improving wear resistance compared to untreated Ergal.
Gandini Race sprockets are a benchmark in the world of racing, designed to deliver extraordinary performance. Through innovation and attention to detail, they are the go-to choice for those seeking reliability and a unique design on the track.
Extreme Performance in Racing Products
In motorsport, every component must ensure top-level performance, lightness, and strength. That’s why our R&D department has developed solutions using Ergal 7075-T6.
Ergal 7075-T6 aluminum alloy an elite material for racing applications:
✔ High mechanical strength – Among the strongest aluminum alloys, comparable to certain construction steels.
✔ Exceptional strength-to-weight ratio – Ideal for reducing mass and improving vehicle response.
✔ Excellent fatigue and mechanical stress resistance – Essential for components subject to repeated loads.
✔ High workability and precision finish – Allows tight tolerances and optimized finishes to reduce friction.
Gandini Race sprockets are optimized for lightweight construction and made from special Ergal 7075-T6 aluminum alloy. They offer the perfect balance between innovation and racing-grade performance.
Precision in Every Detail
Gandini sprockets are engineered with meticulous attention to tooth profile, ensuring improved chain smoothness and significantly increased transmission performance.
Using advanced manufacturing techniques and certified high-grade materials ensures reliability even under the most extreme conditions. Ideal for those who demand uncompromised safety and durability.
Surface Treatments that Protect and Stand Out
Thanks to deep 50 µm anodization, Gandini Race sprockets offer superior wear resistance and extended lifespan. This treatment increases surface hardness, corrosion resistance, and reduces friction—especially when paired with proper lubrication.
Beyond functionality, aesthetics are never overlooked: Gandini Race sprockets feature refined, unmistakable design, reflecting a passion for style and speed.
The anodized surface can achieve higher hardnesses, improving wear resistance compared to untreated Ergal.
Useful for reducing wear due to contact with the chain.
Anodizing is more environmentally resistant than untreated Ergal.
When combined with proper lubrication, it can greatly reduce the friction of the entire chain kit.
Relentless Innovation
The revolutionary EGO Monoblock Sprocket by Gandini Race (patent pending) represents a turning point in final transmission systems. The gear and hub are integrated into a single component, reducing mass and eccentricity. This results in smoother response, reduced vibrations, and simpler assembly.
The system eliminates the need for carrier and bolts, cutting wheel group mass by about 34% compared to OEM systems. Geometry was optimized using FEA analysis to ensure lightness, rigidity, and reliability.
The advantages are also practical; fewer components provide easier assembly and speed in any need to change gears, reducing error, maintenance and cost. The elimination of the sprocket carrier and hardware has resulted in a reduction in the mass of the wheel assembly of around 34%, compared to an OEM final drive system. respecting the geometric constraints imposed by the presence of the toothing and the design constraints of the bearings mounted on the same sprocket body, the shapes have been optimized to make the component as light as it is rigid and reliable. The forces transmitted by the chain are sent back to the drives through triangulations whose geometry was redesigned by FEA analysis, following careful studies of load cases.
An innovation that sets new standards in lightness, efficiency, simplicity, and reliability.
